From Southern Fujian, China, Anxi Tie Guan Yin is probably the most renowned Oo’long in the world. We choose to use the traditional (Nong Xiang) type as opposed to more recently developed varieties (these usually have a floral taste more similar to green tea) because it has a very distinct aroma (whereas the new varieties may taste somewhat like our Pouchong or honey-scented green tea).
This tea is about 30% oxidized.
